After 14 years as the office Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, Cheryl has been promoted to Client Service Associate and took over for MaryAlice Musante when she retired. Cheryl now directly supports Rob Musante as well as Alex Reed, and is excited about her new role. The lasting relationships she has built with clients and the familiarity with how the office runs makes this a smooth transition, and she looks forward to many more years at Columbia Associates.
Cheryl earned a degree in advertising and creative writing from San Jose State University in California, where she was also a student administrative assistant in the Dean’s Office, College of Business. After graduating, she worked in a small ad agency in San Francisco for about a year, then had the unique opportunity to work at Club Med in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After Club Med, she worked eight years at Cisco Systems in Northern California as an administrative assistant supporting directors, managers, and their staff before taking time off to stay home and start a family. She joined Tribune Wealth Management at LPL Financial in August 2011, Raymond James Financial Services in 2019, and transitioned with the team to Concurrent Advisors in 2023.
Cheryl has a passion for live music and loves to go out dancing any chance she gets. She also enjoys a good book and the occasional Netflix binge. She lives in Tualatin with her husband, Eric; they have three children, Lilly, Mason and Evan, and a dachshund named Midge.
